Is it dishwasher safe?

What should I do before using it for the first time?
Remove all packaging, stickers and labels, then wash anything that will touch food with warm water and mild soap and dry it well. The materials used are listed on every product page. For cast iron or carbon steel, follow the seasoning steps on the product page before you start cooking.
How do I keep it in great shape?
Specific care instructions are listed on each product page. In general: use wooden or silicone utensils on non-stick surfaces; oil wooden boards and spoons now and then; dry cast iron right away and add a thin layer of oil; and always unplug appliances and let them cool before cleaning. Never submerge the base of an electric appliance in water.
